Deep Knowledge Group’s COVID-19 Rankings and Analytics are being updated, expanded and enhanced continuously to reflect the daily dynamic changes taking place in countries around the world, and are the result of applying reputable public sources of data and expert consultations to the group’s complex analytics, ranking and forecasting frameworks, which are being continuously refined using novel methods of data science and mathematical technology.

 

The frameworks have been carefully formulated to rapidly and adaptively take into account the new and ongoing actions of countries, governmental bodies and other relevant entities as they strive to mitigate the health and economic consequences of COVID-19. In addition to regularly updating its existing COVID-19 Rankings, Deep Knowledge Group will also be periodically releasing new ranking frameworks designed to account for wide-ranging aspects of the COVID-19 crisis, including economic vulnerability, geopolitical risk, potential unexpected and asymmetric benefits resulting from the crisis, and others. 

 

The COVID-19 Country Rankings were made by the analytical department of Deep Knowledge Group with implementation of its proprietary analytical methodology, including more than 70 parameters analyzing 150 countries, and will be updated regularly according to ongoing shifts in the dynamic of the pandemic. The data is collected from publicly available sources including World Health Organization, Johns Hopkins University, CDC, Worldometers and others. Each parameter is given a specific weighting, or importance factor, and are used as inputs in Deep Knowledge Group’s proprietary analytical equations (mathematical ranking frameworks developed over the course of the past five years for use in a wide variety of highly complex and multidimensional industries, domains and topics).
